“ The Golden Cat “
Once
upon a time, thre lived a poor old man and his wife. On day, he wanted to cut
an oak tree and sell it. So, he went to the forest. A few hours later he
arrived in the forest. He began to cut an oak tree. Suddenly, the golden cat
appeared in front of him.
“What are you
doing?” asked the golden cat.
“I'm cutting
down an oak tree to buy bread. because I don’t have enough money” saids the old
man.
“But, you are
old. Can you do it?”
“Yeah, I can. I
must try it” The cat felt touched and
decided to give a present to the old man.
“Well, I will
give you some flour.”
Suddenly,
the flour appeared in front of the old man. Than the old man back to his house.
After he
errived in his house, his wife began to make soup with the flour.
“Oh my dear
husband, but we don’t have salt” saids the old man’s wife.
“Don’t be sad
my wife, I will back to the forest to cut an oak tree” saids the old man.
“No my husband,
I will ask to our neighbor”
“No” The old man decided to back to the forest. In
the forest, he began to cut an oak tree, but the golden cat appeared again. The
golden cat greatly surprised.
“Why are you come again?” asked the golden cat. The old man
explained everything to the golden cat. The cat felt sorry for the old man.
“Well, I will
give you some salt” saids the golden cat.
“Thank you, you
are very kind”
“No, they are
from God” Suddenly, the golden cat losted and the salt appeared in front of the
old man.
After
that, the old man back to his house. The flour and salt were magic, they were
infinite in that family. Since that time, the old man and his wife always had
the flour and salt in their house.
From the story we can know that God will help to the servant who
was always brave and try to their live.
